I would like to see someone like Khayat. Someone with a strong background of fundraising, because the state isn’t going to do enough for its universities and Ole Miss will have tor raise a lot of money itself.
As an alumus of Ole Miss, I suggest that less money be spent on sports and more on the program of
academics. Ole Miss is a school of promoting education rather than sports. You could cut expenses by having less university vehicles. The vehicles could be shared by different departments.
The unversity has gotten away from the tradition for which it was created. We should get back to the traditions. That is the reason that attended Ole Miss.
