JACKSON – Democratic U.S. Rep. Travis Childers has again defeated Republican Greg Davis in a race for the 1st District in north Mississippi.
Tuesday’s election was rematch between the two candidates. In May, Childers defeated Davis in a special election for the seat that became vacant after Republican Roger Wicker moved to the Senate.

JACKSON – Republican Roger Wicker defeated Democratic former Gov. Ronnie Musgrove in a special election to fill Trent Lott’s old U.S. Senate seat.
