Wildlife officials catch black bear …

NESBIT, Miss. – A black bear that had roamed DeSoto County for several days has been caught.
A veterinarian on Saturday tranquilized a female black bear weighing around 165 pounds and measuring some 5 feet tall if on its hind legs.
The bear was found on the property of Leslea Brant in Nesbit.
