CINCINNATI (AP) – Kroger Co. said Friday the grocery chain was recalling its store-brand “Southern-Style” and “Mustard” potato salads because of concerns they have been tainted with E. coli bacteria, according to state agricultural officials.

Whooping cough cases in state up to 140

JACKSON – The state Department of Health says there have been 140 cases of pertussis or whooping cough in the state.
