Accident on Highway 45 …

A vehicle rolled over in an accident at about noon Thursday. No fatalities at this time, according to authorities. The accident took place at the Town Creek exit on Highway 45 near Nettleton. We’ll have more as it is available.

Cooper Tire fire update …

Cooper fire termed

TUPELO – A Wednesday night fire at the Cooper Tire plant was described as very minor by the Tupelo Fire Department.
Fire Capt. Jimmy Avery said the machine that caught fire in the factory was put out quickly and with little incident.
