The 90 soldiers in Task Force Griffin of the Mississippi National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 185th Aviation Air Assault prepared this morning to leave Tupelo for Kosovo.
Dozens of people showed up at the Aviation Center to give the troops a good send off. Tupelo Mayor Ed Neelly gave the soldiers some words of encouragement.
